SPEAKERS for 2026 EVENT:

Jon Bolton, the "Inspectagator": Jon holds a BS in Building Construction from the University of Florida. He has been performing home inspections since 1998. Together with his wife, Bobbi Lynn, Jon co-owned a residential inspection company called Inspectagator and a commercial inspection firm, Monolith Building Inspections. He holds a BS in Building Construction from the University of Florida and has earned numerous certifications since 1998. An accomplished writer,


Jon has contributed articles to both local and national publications and authored "Tactical Real Estate Negotiator" for real estate investors. His expertise has been featured in various media, including the New York Times and Orlando Magazine, and he is a sought-after speaker across the nation. Additionally, Jon is the owner and director of Home Inspection University - Advanced, providing advanced training and continuing education for home inspectors.



Brent Stroud: Brent is a certified foundation repair expert with more than 27 years of experience in foundation and crawl space repair. As the co- owner of Foundation Pro, he has overseen the successful repair of over 4,000 homes and businesses. A member of the National Foundation Repair Association and the Basement Health Association, Brent combines technical expertise with a strong commitment to ethical business practices—values reflected in Foundation Pro’s recognition with the Better Business Bureau’s Torch Award for Business Ethics and eight consecutive Best Foundation Repair Company awards from the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Readers Choice Poll.

Brent’s career began in his family’s disaster restoration business, where he developed a passion for construction. While earning his Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, he gained hands-on experience in foundation repair, performing installations of vapor barriers, steel pilings, and structural supports. Since taking the helm at Foundation Pro in 2008, he has helped to triple the company’s size and production, building a trusted reputation for quality workmanship, transparent communication, and long-lasting results.


Hank Sander: Hank Sander is a 2012 AHIT graduate and AHIT Instructor/Field trainer since 2021. He is the owner of Heartland Home Inspections with more than 2,000 inspections under his belt and serves Illinois. He has built a team of inspectors that are prepared, well trained, and certified to complete a variety of client’s home inspection needs. He is an American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) Certified Inspector, mentor, and instructor with New Construction and phase construction/pre-drywall certification. His certifications include Certified Residential Thermography (CRT), EMSL and ASHI indoor air quality and Mold Testing. Licensure stretching beyond his home state includes: NY, WI and IN.

A strong background in framing / carpentry / construction and remodeling brings a variety of expertise to the classroom. His teaching philosophy is to instill professionalism and learning through the exchange of ideas, experience, and education. He strives to pass along the knowledge and practice of home inspection with preparation tips to build a successful business. Fun fact, he is also the Radio guest host of AM 1340-WJOL’s “House Talk.”


Kimberly McDonough: Kimberly McDonough holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from The College of Charleston. Kim has been a Technical Sales Representative for EMSL Analytical for just shy of a decade; providing expertise to the home inspection industry and bringing value to your business via environmental lab services like Mold, Lead, Asbestos, drinking water testing, etc.

EMSL Analytical is one of North America’s leading environmental laboratories. EMSL provides 11 divisions for analysis, a products/equipment department, training and just under 50 lab locations for your convenience.


Mark Hardwick: Mark Hardwick’s career in the HVAC industry began early, shaped by hands-on technical training in drafting, welding, and auto mechanics during high school in the late 1970s, along with years of working in his family’s HVAC business, Air Masters, in Little Rock, Arkansas. After graduating from Hall High School, he earned an associate degree in air conditioning and heating from Oklahoma State University Tech. Returning to Air Masters, Mark worked as a service technician before moving into sales, system design, and installation supervision, gaining deep experience across residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC systems.

Recognizing a growing need for well-trained technicians, Mark became a pioneer in HVAC education, developing in-house training programs that later expanded nationally through Contractor Success Group and its Future University initiative. He went on to hold leadership roles with Air Masters, Service Experts, and Lennox Industries, where he helped establish multiple training centers and set industry standards for technical education and assessment. In 2003, Mark founded Ultimate Technical Academy with his wife Patricia, creating a contractor-focused, technician-centered training program. Today, he remains actively involved in teaching and mentoring.
